In the U.S., about 19% of adults identify as neurodivergent, yet many go undiagnosed or unsupported. Conditions like autism affect 1 in 44 children, and ADHD impacts 5–10% of kids and up to 6.8% of adults. Despite their strengths, neurodivergent individuals often face barriers in education and employment — with 50–85% experiencing underemployment. However, when given the right support, they can bring increased productivity and unique problem-solving skills to the workplace, making inclusion not just ethical, but valuable.
